The potential limitations of the use of D2cc as implemented in the EMBRACE protocol are recognized and evaluated against a localized method for determining dose constraints in brachytherapy (BT) treatment planning. This study seeks to better understand the normal tissue dose constraints for HDR BT in the treatment of locally advanced cervix cancer.
