Description

Lindeman talks about her nursing education, her experiences on the nursing faculty at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, her position as Director of Nursing Research at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, and her involvement in national organizations and research conferences. She discusses the changes she brought about and was part of as the Dean of the School of Nursing of the newly consolidated University of Oregon Health Sciences Center from the 1970s on. She comments on many people she knew or worked with, including Senator Mark Hatfield, Presidents Lewis Bluemle and Leonard Laster, Deans Bob Stone, Ransom Arthur, John Kendall, and Lou Terkla. She discusses many issues facing the nursing profession.
