Description

Dr. Rawlinson reminisces about her years as a student in the Department of Nursing Education at the University of Oregon Medical School during the 1940s. She describes Director Elnora Thomson. Then she recalls her experience in the U.S. Navy during World War II after graduation. She talks about her doctoral research. She discusses the development of the faculty and the nursing education programs in University of Oregon School of Nursing during the 1970s and the changes that occurred when the schools consolidated in the mid 1970s.
