The "Sigmoid Six" was a six-man jazz band formed by members of the University of Oregon Medical School's Phi Beta Pi fraternity. These photos feature John Kane (guitar, class of 1957); Don Price (saxophone, '58); Ray Friedman (trombone, '57); John Epley (trumpet, '57); Colin Taylor (clarinet, '57); and Bob Watson (drums, '57).
